I do prefer the US Navy livery , more aggressive brighter colour , but also since most USN types that visited CHCH .

My last trip back from the ice (before you were born i think) was on an LC, cant remember how i ended up on it and not one of ours...but i do remember about 2 hours off landing in CHC, the crew chief pumping gallons of hydraulic fluid into some part of the port landing gear.....and all this red foaming stuff all over the deck unsure.gif . There was only myself and 2 other pax onboard, and they (crew) never did tell us what was going on, we just asked to grab some rags and help clean the stuff up.....not exactly business class laugh.gif

Marty , be great to find out the registration and construction No. , one thing mentioned by Alister Curnow and quite right the fact there are not many LC s built , i'd have a list here , reason for data is to match it to reference i have here .

I have a photo of it somewhere....i think XD 0741 or 0742, it was a VXE-6 bird.

Yea, will have to:D Oh well, I have got plenty of other aircraft to use in the meantime(like the airbus x--MCDU/ autopilot drives me up the wall!!).

0741 hasn't had a problem yet, oh wait, that was fs ohmy.gif .... biggrin.gif

As for the CS Herc costing to much, I got it over the Christmas sale for USD$17.
