Another day in Godzone's paradise. Not a plane in sight.
After months of trying to figure out why I just could not like VLC the way others do, I was really starting to hate it. This was not New Zealand................ THEN I found the cure. It was NOT new textures, it was a replacement "lclookup.bgl" that was installed with the scenery tech textures (way before I installed VLC and then GEX). VLC no matter what I tried it looked how would you say "Dirty" it just looked like s**t no way did not look like the promo's.
After months and months of hacking and pulling hair out in total frustration I got it, I replaced the ST lclookup.bgl with the original FSX file (one simple little f***'in file) . Man am I happy, VLC has just purely come alive no matter where I fly in our glorious country.
Anyway, this is the result with default textures:
