At last I have shelled out the NZ $47 cost of the new RV7. I took a few snapshots on the maiden flight after initial run up on the ground. Its flys like it looks and is a real rocket ship. The exterior is as good as anything on the market but the interior however detailed, is a little lack luster. eg. No 3d glass gauges or bump mapping of textures. That been said, I will be spending a lot of hrs in this babby. 4 variations a mixture of RV7 and RV7A versions with tilt forward or sliding canopys. I hope a few NZ paint schemes pop up.
It is still a beta version so is still in testing prior to final release which will now be released with a sonicsolutions sound pack. I did the test flight in a pre paint condition to show off the beautifull alluminum skin. The cowling and wheel covers are as they come with the kit in primer.

Enjoy

Looks like excellent detail under the cowl - love those stainless crossover stacks. The panel, other than the inevitable Garmin, looks good. How's that AOA?

Is there a NZ repaint of this yet?
