Early morning off Omarama headed for Timaru. Forecast is CAVU on the coast.

Climbing eastbound - good visibility but ceiling's a tad low.

Approaching Lake Benmore - big suckerhole up ahead.

Climbing to try a little VFR on top.

Well now - trust the forecast or get back underneath?

That is a very nice set...we seem to flying in each others hemispheres at the moment...the weather is better where you are!

Heading west you takeoff from Omarama , soon as those wheel left the ground a quik turn to the right and follow the main highway into Twizel , little airstrip there but two occasions the porter was parked up course another bank to the right you follow the channels made to feed Benmore .

All I've been getting out of REX is picture postcard weather so I used an ORBX theme to get some stratiform clouds.
