But also to prove that you don't have to have a top end system to run FSX, everything is set by default in the sim to Ultra High, while flying around i was averaging around 8-15fps, even flying around the UK and a few other places it never dropped below 8fps:



This was taken around Milford Sound, with the UKMIL Harrier found over at Flightsim.com, everything default in the sim apart from the aircraft.

This is with a laptop with 4GB of memory, and a ATI Raden 4200 on board Graphics chip which has a maximum of 4xAA

Yep for sure- modern hardware, even that which comes on a 'normal' spec machine (i.e not a gaming rig) is more than capable of giving great results with FSX- nice shot smile.gif

Thanks for the comments, Should be posting a few more screens shortly of both fs9 & fsx, in various locations.
