Two off the greats , I still dou't the the 17s gear will equal the C5 that crawling under nether it but i would like to see a C5M airshow display , no way to compare against the early version but guest the display should equal the AN124 , as far as my Virtavia C17 .. like to compare both against the AREA51 , biggest thing is A51 will get the extra support since V/A is now near defunct .

As far as externals go, Area 51 has it all over anyone else doing the C-5 or C-17(my opinion)....only thing with the C-17 (i think) its a bit light on texture around the landing gear. Now, if they decide to do a 141........ wub.gif

I,m with you Marty , like everything about VX6 , US NAVY and the the USAF Military machine in Christchurch , thumbup1.gif

As boring as many said about Starlifter , seen the A all the way to last , course no difference between a B.C,D , really no diff other than paint and the stretch and other for the Kiddies the late 'D' was all button push navigation if we get one for FSX .

Once again SP, love the military heavies. drool.gif I also like the night vision thing as well. I did an entire "off the radar flight" in the Iris F-16D with the night vision once.

your Galaxy looks very purposeful. Often wonder how it'd have been if Boeing had won that contract with what became the 747. Turned out, in the long run, to be a winner for Boeing.

Dave , Interesting that idea , the politics and the moneys and course Lockheed,s position at the time , quiet intriguing look at concept drawings but even thinking about it , did Lockheed rush the program after all we no about the re-wing program , and maybe Boeing had a winner in respect the 747F was able to lift more than a C5A . This is has all changed with the re-engined C5M , did Boeing have it right from the start .
