Dusted off some of my old AlphaSim models over the weekend... Along with a fictional Lufthansa livery for the Tu-154, depicting a "what if" had they taken InterFlug under their wing following the fall of the Berlin Wall.
FS9, Alphasim's Blackburn Firebrand, Martin-Baker MB-5 and Supermarine Scimitar, Project Tupolev's Tu-154, Aerosoft's Hamburg and Budapest.

Not bad, the Lufthansa livery, although Aeroflot is still my pick.
Great screens, Tu-154 + Ferihegy = State of the Art thumbup1.gif
I see Aerosoft updated the terminal for FSX but not FS9; undaunted, within days, there was a freeware FS9 patch for the completed terminal!

Thanks Charl!
Are you talking about the classic Aeroflot livery or the silver + rippling flag one seen on the 154's?

All the tubeliners in my hangar have an Aeroflot livery... so very post-Soviet.

Cheers Marty!
Ian, of course the Firebrand and the MB-5 are freeware now... Neither of them like FSX though.
The Scimitar has to be one of the most well endowed flying machines ever as far as airbrakes go... The first half of the flap movement is normal, anything further and they extend to a whopping 90 degrees and also extend the two center-section 'brakes - if by some miracle there's any airspeed left to bleed off, you've always got the split petal type 'brakes to hang out in the breeze too rolleyes.gif

The Scimitar , the airbrakes , in its own way was a overpowered Demon , maybe required that extra braking to conpresate the extra engine .... PS: dont tell Albatross .. the Scimitar is really a Navalized Hunter biggrin.gif

Trouble with the British , everything was made to suit the purpose , the Sea Hawk at time held its own against possibles , early 50s , Scimitars and incoming Vixen was all they could pull outta there hat so to speak ..
