Ive been stuck at home for the day....not feeling to flash, hence the number of screens. Wont bother you all again for a while.






fsx, vlc, Hamilton X and good old Alphasim again. XR728 (JS) was part of the LTF at RAF Binbrook in 1987.

Now that is one type that will make feel better , a beauty Binbrook like that would have ya running around faster than Mach2 cool.gif I have a wicked pic off XR754, next time you stop by i,ll pull the book out smile.gif

Nice pics... slightly different view for a SP pic...wonder if we will see a "Frightning" in the air again..the remaining ones in SA are for sale

Thanks Naki......thought i should come out of the clouds....the screens were just getting to gray. Wouldn't it be great to get a couple flying again in the UK....as much a landmark as the Vulcan. I didn't know the SA ones were for sale........same guy who has the Bucc ?

Im not sure, but i think she may still be there.....have to check.

Ian , i thought it was still at Binbrook, but it seems its now at Bruntingthorpe with the Lightning Preservation Group ....is that the one the high speed taxi on open days?

Just watched a dvd on the lightning.....sound way up......man, they must be awesome to be near at full noise smile.gif

Further read on the Lightning , on decommission from the RAF , Australian Millionaire Arnold Glass brought six only to sell in the early 1990s , think that guy got himself killed flying a P-51 .
