I downloaded the new Orbx South Island yesterday, so now have a new area to explore. Here are the first shots, taken between Glenorchy and Milford Sound. Wanaka Flightseeing C206 had the honours of the first flight.

I guess that there will be a few more shots to follow!!

smooth landings.

I think you will find as you fly around this package it looks a lot like New Zealand, not Alaska. winkyy.gif

I'll add a few more to your post HT hope you don't mind.

Questions about accuracy and finding your way around VFR, there is none, if you know the country NZSI will take you there. Granted some over tones in a few textures but if that is the only niggle I have it's not worth worrying about. Landmarks, rivers, road, rail it's all there. IMHO it is the best base package bar none.

Invercargill water tower

Makarora air strip at the Hasst Pass Tourist center.

Over the Alps towards Aoraki

Top of Tekapo

No need to introduce this landmark

Waitaki river braid with willows smile.gif

Port Chalmers, Dunedin

Mesh is amazing, textures awesome, accuracy for navigation top notch. Rivers? so far all there.

Recommended? Very much so.

I have to say the final product looks pretty good...are all the default airports just as good as the one you have pictured above?
