There I was, fooling about with NZSI (don't ask!). I needed something to zoom around the landscape with - pretty fast, so what better than a Hunter? For no reason at all, I happened to pick the grey/blue Swedish livery (Virtavia/Alphasim Hunter).
For some reason, REX decided to match the colour scheme and - without any intervention from me - produced these stunning cloud formations. It was one of these sessions where it just didn't matter where you pointed that camera, you just sat there in amazement. Shame that voodoo doesn't work for screencomps!!!

Seemed quite "conventional" at first ...

... just poodling along our green and pleasant land ...

... when things got "interesting" ...

Sometimes "simple" seems to work best ...

... but then you get the drama (thanks, REX) ...

... back to "peaceful"

The last one's a quick comparison: VLC (left) and NZSI (right) ... Mount Cook area (flame suit ON!!!). I can see how/why the Swedes paint their Hunters like that
With acknowledgements to Splitpin's Canadian Hunter (see other thread)
... that may have affected my "random" choice of aircraft somewhat for this NZSI photoshoot
