wooden?.... I didn't know that.....and as for the canopy....they must have wished for a bubble.....but otherwise a formidable bit of kit.

After 54 years, i learn something new every day.......i suppose you know the Canberra had a plywood tail ? (i didn't until i saw one )....but I'm sure you did .

What's the verdict on which model/vendor 109 to buy? Which is this?
deeknow, this is the Flight replicas offering, i dont think you can go past it. Only thing is, the lack of "that" marking on the tail, i suppose in some areas it may still cause a little grief.....but its all history now.......the sound of that Daimler Benz is just magic.

He's working on an FSX version but, on his site, it still shows as a WIP.

Flight 1 handles Flight Replicas products and they have an FSX portover though it's not on the FR site.

Adamski wrote:QUOTE (Adamski @ Jan 7 2012,11:17 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>As threatened ... here's a few Fw190 shots ...
That radial engine looks (and sounds) great! This is the "Classics Hangar" version - available now from JustFlight I think ... does that make your mind up Marty?
I's a very "twitchy" aircraft to fly ... and must have been in RL, as every combat sim I've ever tried that had an FW190 behaved the same. I suppose its counterpart must really be the Mustang, but I'd love to know how it would have faired against the later (Pacific) radial-engined US fighters. My feeling is that it would have run rings round them.
Mind made uplooking forward to this one......thanks Adam, great shots.

I see on the Classic Hanger site there are three options on the FW190
:Fw 190 A, The Early Variants
:Fw 190 A, The Late Variants
:Fw 190 A Compilation
Any recomindations
