Another favourite of mine , looks mean and again like such planes at the end of WWII , they were well above there capability

I pulled a book out this morning and spotted an amazing colour photo of a complete all metal , no ocean scheme on it , you can see the rivet lines , just impressive .

This is the old Alphasim model , him wonder how close i can get with say a pre-based unit , unfortunate the AS dose not have a turret , but those got to be interchanged .

I have the ole Shackleton done by the Shack group of South Africa , another hav'nt installed for many years , the Neptune dose have a New Zealand connection and Wigram was a base for the US Navys Nep's during Operation Deep Freeze in the late 50s.

She is one my favourites too. So much history and well loved by the crews (mainly the pilots).....

Thanx Dani , Pretty looking things they are .

Tim , had a chance jump in the HARS PV-2 , altho updated it felt like a machine for maritime attack , first time i saw fly was Mr Guidio own it in 88 , impressive fly by and demo .

Thanks Matt smile.gif , having a play with the paint since studied a photo yesterday morn place metal plates to suit the structure , not bad for a very old model . The cockpit is bit off a let down with the gauge , i wonder if they can be replaced with better read Alpha Gauges .. Adrian Brausch is the man to see about that cool.gif
