Yep everythings great, haven't really had too much time to enjoy yet. I'm still working on adding addons, getting there slowly

Thanks, I've been playing around with the moon a bit lately you can get some nice shots but can also be quite hard to get the moon in and have something else worth looking at

I've forgotten what a great little aircraft that Kingair is. Your screencomp pic is a beaut as well. As to the moon ... I often play with night shots for the comps (but they never seem to work out right) - and am always very impressed by how MSFS places the moon, sun and stars in their proper positions with respect to time an season. Quite often, when composing a shot, I've wanted to move the moon by a fraction. Just changing the time a bit does the trick. Quite amazing, really.
If you lost them in your re-install, those hi-res moon textures that Ian mentions are definitely are worth having.

I spent at least 5 minitues in the screen shot pic changing the time a few minitues at a time to get the moon were I wanted it. Shot came out a bit dark for my liking edited that in my photo editor but it didn't seem to make the pic any better so left it alone.
I didn't have the high res moon textures installed, I do remember seeing them somewhere though, can't remember were

Yes (thanks!) ... it's here on the repaint thread. It was fun doing it!
P.S. Just a thought ... your dawn shot may look better at 1280px ... as it might push out more of the surrounding white (outside the pic). Ideally, you'd want it to fill the whole screen - as it does when you're in FS!Last edited by Adamski on Wed Feb 08, 2012 6:02 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Cool I had been keeping an eye on that thread but not looked today.
The 1280px is worth a go thanks
