Before you start asking why the answer is yes there are two June entries as there was a dead heat for first place in june.

The Lancaster still has this appeal , but you may need it to get down to Omaka , Wonder if Sir Pete could get one flying for ya

OK ... whose aircraft are we going to "borrow"? ... I mean I really can fly them all - from an Airtruk to a Harrier ... piece of cake! Just gimme the keys

I must admit, from AKL it'd probably have to be a flight ... it's a long trip for an old codger like me to be doing it in a car. That said, I did make it to Takaka a couple of years ago .. but we took our time getting down there.

Anyway - enough counting chickens already

I dunno .. maybe it's simply because it's *summer* and many NZFFers are out there enjoying it instead of being stuck in front of a PC. Who knows, many of them could actually by FLYING!!!

@Ian ... That Lanc is one of my favourites (thanks) - not so much that shot itself .... more because of the 500 other "also rans" I had when taking it. Nearly filled up my HD
