It might have been very reliable, but from 'what I have heard' from the war regarding the Italians and their willingness for war, maybe there were dozens of reasons to fly home instead of towards battle Seriously though, it is a nice looking plane, and then we could argue all day about the most beautiful WW2 fighter
I was expecting a 339 (you read my mind!) But this fits the bill! Based on the 200 Saetta wasn't it? Just a gruntier power plant and other bits and bobs.That Daimler Benz 601 certainly got around
