Im trying out FEX , thanks to Flight 1, Doug, and the voters.
These were all taken at high altitude and in low light, so may be a bit gloomy.

High altitude escort 109K-4

and again....

And the English version...Spitfire Mk-IX

FSX, FEX, RealAir, Flight Replicas.

Thanks Ian.....interesting reading about that Spit (screen) it took part in the highest fight in WW2.....started at about 41,000, went up to 43,000. Him and a JU-88, he only managed to get one round into the Junkers, but after that the Germans gave up high level bombing.

Thank you too Dave....I think FEX has as much to offer as REX.....Im still finding my around it, it also includes a bit of ORBX stuff (water clours etc) Those screens were taken almost at the top of thunderstorm, i have a few more from inside the storm....maybe later.

Ooooh ... look at all those yummy clouds! thumbup1.gif!

What are the essential differences between REX and FEX? I thought they did pretty much the same thing <?>. Does FEX give you more control?

Those are absolutely lovely cloudscapes!
The definition of the cloud textures, and especially the lighting really looks great!
