Thanx Marty , were you at Wigram 1985 when two ripped in overhead , i did'nt believe we'd see a Mirage in the NZ for small show , made my year .

I was elsewhere (AKL) in 85, but i have seen them at Ohakea...... beautiful things.

Yep nice..saw them in 1981 at Ohakea..rumour is that they are rebuilding one in Aussie to fly again.

That,s good news , last Mirage i saw fly was 91 , I do prefer the camo scheme on them tho .

I did have the camos installed , they are more suited to the type .

In a stroke of good luck/timng when I visited Egypt last year, we saw most of the Egyptian airforce types including Mirages fly in formations over the Pyramids*!

*Not the great Pyramids, some older/smaller ones near them.

Did you get some photos of the formations , or not recommended , bro tried to photo a IAF F4 and got himself in hospital for it .

It was payware http://www.skysim.co.uk/home.htm , but looks like the Mirage has been pulled from the shelf .
