Great CS Model and well presented Ian... Just missing a NAC paint. I've got a dicast model sitting in my lounge bookshelf of this. Have fond memories of the NAC 737s as one of the first A/C I had a tour around about a million years ago.

Ian, remember the last 73 without hushkits ?i used to love watching that thing depart...smoke....noise. But these days, the kids would need OSH approved ear defenders, need too be at least 5km away....and then get 20 hours free counselling laugh.gif

I don't.....but I do remember the ones WITH hushkits and they were still very noisy buggers! I can only imagine they were like without them!

I've visited the first ever production 737 which is painted in NASA colours and sits in a parking lot over the road from the Boeing museum in Seattle next to the first ever 747!

They were'nt all that noisey at all by compare to a automatic engineering workshop , the 73 would takeoff and disappear , the sound off ten Traubs without silent barfeeds ... now that was noise and where was OSH then unsure.gif .... and hey i,m tough .. no earmuffs either laugh.gif

I believe that very 737 did fly New Zealand skies in the Ansett livery . smile.gif

Obviously everyone has been following the updates , and now it is closing in to be complete , over the last few months transporting all my 100 passengers in the
cockpit tongue.gif , now with the latest 0.9 update we all fly in comfort . Bins open above and great view watch the tarmac from the door cool.gif

Trouble is ..... all these seats and suddenly no one wants to fly with me , guess they wanta make sure i'm doing it right in the front end . laugh.gif

Really Fab shots of my most favourite jet aircraft.
Have many fond memories of both un-kitted and hush kitted 732s in NAC colours.
Smokey,..... yes,........ Noisy,..... Yes,....... but not as peircing up close as the noise from a pair of Rolls Royce Darts on an F-27.
Shot 5, all smoke an noise, reminds me of a pic i have in a book, taken from an identical angle, of ZK-NAC making a low
and smokey flyby over Gisborne on its arrival in NZ from the USA.
This model would look fabulous in an NAC Wings of the Nation paintjob.........................
