What do you do after the air show?. You go fly all the aircraft you saw there (some of them anyway)...same colours too. I should of pulled the DC-3 and Mustang out of the hangar as well

Its the Sibwings Pitts...it includes both the S1 & S2 models unlike the other two payware Pitts out there which include either the S1 or S2. Very nicely modelled..not sure whether the flight dynamics are quite there (not sure whether true Pitts dynamics are possible in FSX anyway) but pretty good anyway. Some very nice touchs such as engine exhaust vibrations, pitot covers etc. Bonus is that it includes two NZ schemes. I would rate it 7 or 8 out of 10

I think the true test of good model is if you keep coming back to it for a few flights...I defnitely do with the Sibwings Pitts with the limited amount of FS flying I do nowadays

Wow that Pitts is one fun model! thumbup1.gif Thanks for HU Paul

About 20 years ago had the privilege of a half hour aerobatic flight in at Pitts S-2A as a passenger in what was then ZK-FXT (now registered as JAG) at Rotorua Aero Club on my honeymoon - so here are a few test shots at NZRO and over the lake.

And one of a S2 to put it in context

Welcome to the club... mine was in JAG at Queenstown, and convinced me that flight simulation is perhaps a little easier to do on a regular basis!
To be frank, there are not many good aerobatic FS models, the Christen Eagle is one of the few (both FS9 and FSX ones are good.)
The test is to see if they can fly a knife-edge.

Now you mention it, Paul, I can't believe I haven't dug out a Hunter for that low level blat and zoom into the Tauranga sky!
Wonder if there's a nice repaint I can cannibalise...

Mate I can honestly say that was one of the highlights of my life (okay I've had a sheltered life), the pilot once he worked out I wasn't going to mess up the cockpit by vomitting everwhere started doing some hard out aeros up to 4 g and let me fly a roll and a loop as well!

Don't die wondering as the Nike logo goes "Just Do It". You'll never regret it.
