whathesaid.gif ... but I'm intrigued by #1 ... why does the seat need to go forward? Is it an ejector seat? laugh.gif - or is it quicker to jump through the window if the seat is aligned with it?

Or ... my favourite theory is that all airline pilots are in fact dwarfs - and this is the only way they can get them to reach the rudders for the the more critical manoeuvres like take offs, landing etc.

Pilots are encouraged to check full travel of controls as part of pre-takeoff checks so I imagine having the seat set where you can reach them might be part of that.

Moving seats and Flight Experience , adjusted the seat to far forward in one of my flights , i could use the rudder but had no toe brake , required my co-pilot stop hold while i readjusted my seat simple because my knee's touched the bottom of the panel ... DOH laugh.gif
