And I'd like to see the Napier / Hastings area before I think about splashing out. But, it does all look very good. I'd be interested to see comparative screens for NZ Super City, Rotorua, Tauranga & Wellington from Robin, and also one's comparing Mike's Hamilton & Taupo.

Break in the clouds , sun looks out over this brilliant airport scenery

Find a suitable park ... looks like the weather has turned for the worst time to head indoors

Man - just got in time

Nice warm and dry , even the birds are walking

Yes sir , how can i help you .

This patch requires the full package at Mikes site www.fs-creations.org at only $5US .

Here we go Pete - Napier and Hastings ... the close up showing the building signage was in Hasting trying to find the Heinz/Watties factory .. think they are growing magic mushrooms laugh.gif

Little worried about this warship in the port ... a Ticoneroga/Kidd Class ninja.gif Nuclear capable

Thanks Ian - much appreciated. I didn't know we had a Target store hereabouts... tongue.gif That's certainly the best I've ever seen the Bay on any flight sim - first time in a while I've seen a military vessel park-up at the Port. While lacking detail, there's certainly a few "key" items that are good to see, like a basic rendition of the port and the nearby fuel storage tanks, plus the general industrial area of Ahuriri / Pandora is a big step up from the nothing that exists now. I wonder if they bothered to put in Park Island? Did you do an approach to Napier at all from the southern end? There should be a housing development and a couple of small tree-covered hills just to the left of them, about 1km or so from the threshold.

Guess a little random placement of good quality library objects , would really sparkle the city up and port .

HAMILTON Patched and works superbly in Orbx NZNI and city buildings added without the large area photo . The blend on the south eastern corner in the little
place called Mystery Creek and Waikato's agricultural venue ... also has a airstrip to show off AG aircraft .

Course directly over the airport showing the layout

The nice little job of placing the Hamilton City buildings

And now the gem ... a very highly detailed airport and building

QANTAS made a visit , Johny Travolta maybe .

Or maybe a transit flight to the Longreach QANTAS museum

I flew a tiki tour around Hamilton last night in default Orbx. NZHN compared to default FSX is a huge enhancement, they even made an attempt at placing the hospital, All be it with out the rescue heli pad, Morman Temple and a loosly based NZTK (Te Kowai) which was a surprise. Raglan was just a skidmark in the grass and Mikes Raglan scenery dose'nt actually sit to bad. The Orbx mesh is to elevated on the harbour side but you can put up with it knowing what the default looks like. Those shots look good Ian, makes Hamilton a little more convincing. I look forward to installing the patches.

Yeah i was doing Raglan lastnight the rise in the terrain from any water area seems to be about 5meters ,i tryed my highres photoreal of Auckland and the beaches are about 10-20 meters of water level poked out more so on the eastern side than western which is way off the 1meter and 20 meter smooth transition meshes ive had been using in the same area ,anyway moving on ive completed 4 of the North Island freeware airports and scenery extras so may even be later today youll be able to use my works in Orbx NZNI fully ,the patches for TaupoX and HamiltonX are at my site already of course .
