This is my fort (A2A), - still in the air but I must say I have pranged it a few times. It's easy enough to save the file after a good flight and back it up in case of events like Oldendirt's. If ever there was a payware plane worth buying, this is it.

Only the Lib's had the retractable ball turret , the fort either broke its back or if the crew had time , they had the tools to unbolt it and drop it , some ball turret gunners got trapped due to damaged mechanical failure perished by being crushed or dropped but generally his casualty rate very much lower due to his posture against the flak and machine gun/cannon fire .
