Bell 47... the first Helicopter of the US Army in regular service. Used in Korea 1950-1952, by Israel 1956, Algeria 1950´s. In Germany we had them from 1958 to 1982 at the Airforce Helicopter Flying School in Bückeburg... And now, they are nearly forgotten... really? At these days a not so bad variant for our FSX you can buy here:

http://secure.simmarket.com/flysimware-bel...(de_5908).phtml
(For Prepar3D is a separate version available)

My first intention was to have a agil and slow toy to fly into VFR-Scenery´s like Alderney, made bei Earth Simulations. Flying low and slow, just for fun...

Alderney airport... a place for GA and sometimes for B.N. Trislanders from Guernsey and the UK.

The inner harbour, build at the 19th century... and never completed.

Caution, beware of birdstrike...

A lighthouse, build in 1912.

The harbour, some more details.

Yeah!

This fortress was build in the 19th century, but all in all it was a bluff against the frenchies.

This is of german origin, because the Germans in WWII capture the island without fight in Juni 1940 and stayed on the Channel Island´s to Mai 1945. This is a part of the german fortification build around 1942/43 . It was a command post for the coastal artillery.

The church of St. Anne.

O.k. this was our little flight. It´s time for tea now.

Addons: Earth Simulation Alderney, Bell 47G from Flysimware und REX.

Very interesting. I see you can fly it without a governer. That would be seriously cool if you had a collective with a throttle on it.

Yes flying Helicopter with the "typical equipment" is a bit far from ideal. At the moment I have not much to do with Helo´s. But sometimes I need something better. Not only for FS and X-Plane... for the Black Shark from this russian Designer-Group it is also essential.
