Posted: Fri Sep 14, 2012 1:29 pmWhen I was working on Elmendorf AFB, the U.S. - USSR detente was in full swing. A Mig29 landed, enroute to a big airshow in the south 48. We were at the 'O' club after work and some of the resident F4 jocks invited us along to inspect this stranger. Tiny compared to the F4 and painted that special Russian blue, all were in agreement it would give lots of agony in a fight.
