Nice shots Marty.
Also, dont forget the other HJG stablemates, they have a nice L1011 Tristar, and the following Convair 990 with a fabulous retro AA livery, nice FSX compatible panel too and a decent sound-pack...

(snapped just now climbing out of the Manukau, not sure if these machines ever made it down under though?)

Strange Air New Zealand did not pursue a dedicated freighter , they make more moneys than transporting peoples cattle class , today's market shows an increase in across the world via internet marketing and trade this still requires the goods to get here quick , other servers i guess .. i wonder why that ANZ service was deleted .

I would have thought the same Ian, but then when NZD was sold in 1989, it was also right around the time of the govt privatisation of Air NZ, so maybe BIL and co decided air freight wasnt such a good thing, as more aircraft would be needed for decent services out of NZ it wasnt worth the expense.. who knows what might have been. SAFE in NZ for domestic air freight and Air NZ global
