I'm having a bit of a screenie rash at the moment. Can't let that old Splitpin muddy the skies too much, so here are some summer colours to remind us of summer (that doesn't appear to want to arrive here in NZ ...):

Jankees' absolutely stunning repaint (A2A Mustang):

Some old freeware Su35, so I didn't zoom in too close laugh.gif

I've never heard "Heaven sent - Hell bent" before, but it's so *poetic*! Late afternoon over the Waitakeres:

As for that Su35 ... I still think the Su27 line is one of the most attractive "modern" jet designs ever. I've seen an Su27 many times (in displays in the UK). It's not a small aircraft, but its grace and agility is absolutely awesome (it's also very noisy, which adds to the effect)!

You get to note the "box" aircraft do their displays in, and it comes as quite a shock to see Su27's do their routines in something half the size.

Yes...... slagged of so often ....but some of the best display pilots around , displaying some of the best aircraft. Maybe my Heritage comes thru here , but i do get a little tired of "west is best" ....just a thought. winkyy.gif

There's a tremendous documentary I have somewhere ... where they asked a US fighter pilot what he would do if one of those got on his tail. He said, simply "Eject!" laugh.gif
