Well off for some tests today , knowing hospitals and waiting always take something good - lotta photo's and a lotta caption reads so grabbed one of my B-36
books - good thinking Joe90 , a good 45 minute wait but into it 10 minutes in another patient walks in on sitting down noticed what i was reading , course i was
of , probably the most fascinated visit ole Jack had may see him online , maybe not (No.1) , on waving goodbye i had to go to another department and the near
the same thing happened again (No.2) , called in to see the doc , i had not put the book away strike (No.3) turned what is normally a horrible trip into fun .


Course after all this weird attention i had to dig up my old Alpha Convair B-36 , i'm sure the cockpit was a little different or better built , the textures are worn
... Its is an old model after all .

PS: If you are going into hospital for tests .. don't right the answers on your arms .. they now wanta cut me open .. also Guinea Pig me .. DON'T CHEAT

Wow, interesting machine. That's what you call a Tube-Bomber

A Tube Bomber ... now Dean that is the most tubular tubulation to a tube bomber , amazing details with this aircraft 129 500Lb pound bomb ... how about two 43,000 Grand Slam bomb ...

Huge, a monster, and and obsolete at the time he was new in the inventory of SAC... with the turbos under the wing it was not really better... and it was one of the last aircraft from Convair. The second desaster for Convair was the CV 880/990. and this was enough. First a part of General Dynamics they lose. Meanwhile nearly forgotten. Only the F 102 and the F 106 are aircraft from the last period from Convair, that reached the peak.

Name of the game Name that plane , the variant as close as possible , the date is a good direction

You take care ...... Im stuffed and have to crash, first day back at work for two weeks (bloody flu ) but Im having a long weekend. Those in charge decided too close the site down on friday....suits me.

Ian, the 104 was definitely top secret as was the 105 at the time of this pic.. though im a little gutted i cant properly identify the EC-121 and B-47.. but id hazard a guess that the EC-121 is a C model and the 47 is an E model

This is from the movie 'Strategic Air Command' even General Curtis Le May was part in this movie , the guy facing the engineers panel , this is Harry Morgan (Col Potter) of M*A*S*H fame and the guy looking over his shoulder is the big Hollywood Movie Star Jimmy Steward , that chap was a well decorated WWII B-24 pilot who completed many missions .
