Marty , hot off the press 24 hours ago smile.gif .. recall you stop to check the Bronco .. this one has the feel like your up there in the clouds , as you said with the T-38 , that was an eye opener .. this inflight is thrilling , requires a little in cockpit startup .. the sound setup is superb , i did an engine start from an old USAF manual after a flameout and it worked ..WICKED cool.gif

Its the ride inside your going to like , i do have one issue with it , small problem the joystick will not move , it maybe something to do with switching AVs to get a working D/L or it could simply be i've just tapped over a 100gig of FS installed .. not sure the cause yet but i'll do a bit troubleshooting .

But this 86 is all Mustang but with a jet stuck up its back end ! .... a real cockpit teaser !

Bloody 'ell ... things really have come a long way, detail-wise. It's making my hangar look decidedly "past it" (like the owner) sad.gif

Remember this one - hard act to follow.
Did it never get developed for FSX?

I used to have it running quite well in FSX ... not sure whether it's still in my hangar, though (I keep having to make room for new additions sad.gif). It sure is a good one - for free!

Thanks Ian, when I saw the topic I had an irresistible urge to strap on a Sabre, and rattle it... you bet that would be Jan Visser in the driving seat!
I just did a cloud dance with two of them, what a thrill it must've been in its day, eh?

Can't have too many Sabres I guess... Milviz better have done their homework to justify another, though.
Ian your first shot looks pretty excellent I must say.

I'm playing in the '60s at present, although I read the F-86 is a 1949 vintage!
They stayed in service with the US ANG until 1970, though, so 60s works.
One last gratuitous shot, then:

So strange , you see a Sabre in flight during airshows , dang thing seems so docile ! sad.gif , but they have this reputation ...

In wonderment to think they lasted in front till the 1990s .. guess if its cheap to use its good to go ..
