We really do have a lot going for us, scenery-wise in NZ. For those starved of airliner pics, here we go ... a very grubby 777 southbound from Queenstown. Well - it's almost camouflaged, innit?

Couldn't decide which one I preferred, so let's have both!! Well ... I suppose #1 takes it by a whisker!

Yep, I'm with #1. I had a stroll through some screenshots from a 1998-vintage sim last week in an old computer mag. They were marvelling at how there were different shades of colours representing different fields.... blink.gif Reminds me of my first sim on the ZX Spectrum: yellow for sun, light blue sky, green for ground, dark blue for lakes (5 or 6-sided blobs) or the ocean... ninja.gif Oh, and night flying had a row of somewhat widely-spaced white dots (like a full stop) denoting mountains and the horizon.

Big thmbs up for these. Certainly not complaining about a lack of airliners, just noticing of late it's few and far between winkyy.gif I for one enjoy all planes.
Great shots, but then yours are ALWAYS right up there with the best mate

your scenery and clouds are so good, the plane seems almost superfluous.

Thanks, Dave (and others)! There are a couple of topics over at the ORBX forums I frequent that have dispensed with the aircraft altogether! A lot of it is ORBX PNW (or Canada) with REX and they're pretty stunning.

At least if you leave out the aircraft you don't have to worry about black propellers, invisible canopies etc. laugh.gif

"At least if you leave out the aircraft you don't have to worry about black propellers, invisible canopies etc" could be a whole new section of the forum ...... no aircraft screenshots.
