I do like that shot, too - not so much for the artistic value, but for the Grunt.
(That's a valid reason I reckon)
The JASDF paints on that model are some of the best anywhere.
As to this being

How about this, on completely the other side of the equation? (Just about everything in here is animated, and there are 223 planes on the 'scope):

Overland Narita + Ground vehicle pack.
Here's Kansai:

FS9 does this best for me... approaching an airport like this, you do not even look at the lower-res ground textures, and once down, it's all smooth action and movement.
I find it easy to suspend disbelief.

Only pity is there's a severe lack of JASDF military bases to fly your nice F-4 from...

They do these amazing stationary aircraft carriers... here's Nagoya Chubu.
Engineering marvels, the buildings are levelled on jacks because the island (man-made) moves around

Back on topic... that's better.
Great screen Ian, that certainly is one Mean Mutha...
I have a half dozen USMC repaints still unpacked in the D/L folder, along with various mods to the venerable Alpha model.
If it rains just a little more, I'll have an excuse to bring them here...

Thanks Charl cool.gif One mean Mutha indeed .. FS9 and first screen with using Imageshack simply PB is still playing horrible its games .... searching for an ideal screen capture program that works with Win7 without that time consuming snipping tool ... you simply cannot 'V' key screens in FS9 .. you did not have an ideal program for Win7 ? .

Yes PB does seem to have fixed something that really was not broken.
I find you have to click 3 times on the [img] link to pick it up, then edit out "original" when you paste it

I've always captured screens with FRAPS and I'm sure it works in most WIN flavours.

Hmm yeah , with PB for seven plus years .. still fine for me but today's world everyone appears to use near the screen width 1280 or so i'm lead to believe ... and that were PB seem to be getting a little lost .. sure they will adjust the sizes up .. today i think everyone has a monitor larger than the oldies 19" what lessor they PB prescribe to .

Fix something that's not broken is something that seems to happen a lot these days rolleyes.gif
