I have one word to say, stunning. Actually a few more are needed...

With Prepar3d both Shade and bloom are unable to be used and these really set some really beautiful atmospherics. I regret moving from FSX in the beginning, a bad move. In these screenshots I have created a winter chill feeling using the correct season, appropriate time of day, and of course the right Shade setting.

I hope you enjoy these pictures as I did taking them. They can be found in my Minus album.

Cheers,

K.

It was very, very dark. I'm in counselling now for the trauma it caused me. FSX is my recovery mechanism

From what I know and who I have been speaking with I expect there will be some huge developments over the next year or so in the simulation field. Let us play FSX as we draw closer to the next phase winkyy.gif .

I am still hesitating about P3D, hoping that version 2 will be the update that everybody wants, then perhaps I will change. But reading your comments makes me hesitate even more......

smooth landings

Not so strange , mid late 1990s we had so many choices and still Microsoft Flight Simulation just kept chugging along and the competition well seem to dry up ... all these newbies - well X-plane not so but so many other and they cringe and fizzle . P3D sounds cool .. i don't have it .. i got rid of FLY I/II/II and Flightunlimited I/II/III .. we back then strove for the better looking sim ... I look at many peoples screens and they are still that decade back .... MS for the currents FS9/FSX did a friggen great job .
