All these new words and places to visit , I have been to Somewherenistan where all these beer swilling slobs called teletubbies bulged out at us ... you will need a more powerful weapon system to surgically take these out and a larger lifting capacity smile.gif

Lovely gritty shots Marty. Is this an Asian/Middle-Eastern mesh? or local somewhere?

DANG, they really are great. Reading Sweating the Metal huh? winkyy.gif
Another good read is the one written by a British Apache pilot, the title eludes me at the moment though.
Love those shots. Very realistic.

And if you get the chance read "immediate response " much better than "sweating the metal " .... but both good in their own right.

Like most Technical books , the best are the ones with actual post combat reports , these books are a great source to double cross reference and really put you in the hot seat of real action .

The one Im reading now is real good "immediate response" ...i think a little more refined than "sweating the metal "
Is anyone aware of any Korean war true tales for my collection ?

Im going to need yet another bookcase before too long.

Yes, Apache by Ed Macy is definitely the one. Just browsed the chapter list online (I borrowed the book from a workmate) The chapter "Give me four volunteers" is pretty crazy!

Al , Macy's books are great .... you can read it, put it away for a few months .... read it again , and find something new.
