Martin , I really did love the Vulcan at John Young's RAF Waddington or was it Scampton , now the B-52 ... I could do with a fleet heading from Guam to the Nam , or from Diego Garcia for a crack at Iraq

Ian,

It will not take long until flight plans and repaints for the B-52 will become available. I am sure that we will see a MAIW package for either or Minot or both sooner or later. My B-52 shot above is made at Midway, btw.

I am planning photo sessions for the models not covered yet (Gripen, F-16, Mirage-2000, MB-339, L-39, .......). And there are so many cool once about to be released .
But making those sessions goes slowly, because I try to find the right place and setup for each aircraft and add only shots that convince me. OrbX has greatly enriched what I can do today.

Oh yes, indeed! Mine have the flying position between the two in the front and the two in the back of your shot. A very complex situation that you have setup there - I wouldn't know offhand how to stage this. Have you used Paintshop, FS-Recorder or dark arts?

There is not a great difference between the AI and the flyable, what do you think?

Don't have and never used FS-recorder , Its the dark side of photoshop ..... means i get to do many flights to get one screen

All my shots are unedited, Ian. I guess there is a large potential, once you master a graphics software.

I just finished a session that I tried many times and always failed. I wanted to team Fat Albert with two Hornets. This times I think I have got it right

Great shots in the linked thread. The air refueling mission is on my to-do list as well, as are target drag shots (with a Canbera) and some bomber / fighter combis (Russians most likely) and some interceptions (can't yet say).

Yes folks, the RAF tanker is NOT a Boeing, it is... an Airbus!
The AI A330 200 MRTT RR from Mark Griggs, to be precise.
I couldn't get it to do the drogue thing until I read the Readme (!) which says clearly:
Set your flightplan between 22900ft to 24100ft which is where the drogues deploy.

Best to have a chase plane with Marciano radar of course, and a Mach 2 cruise.

Yes, this one is from Mark Grigg's stable (the second shot in the long list above). I am still fighting odds to get some decent shots refueling some AI fighters. Get them all to 23000 ft in formation is a bit tricky....

The pods do look small, but I think Mark has got them as they should be. See this photo from the Airbus web:
