SP - What do you use for weather? In particular, does what you use for mist cut off in a ruler-straight line at precisely 6012' or whatever is set in the cloud top level, or does it vary as real clouds do ?

Cheers

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

Mike i use REX , and the Orbx themes ... i have noticed the " ruler straight" thing from time too time . These shots , i used Orbx theme #2 .
Not sure if that helps or not

Yes, it does help, thankee kindly. I have both REX and AS available for my FS9, but as you know some weather can be hard on the frame rates. The straight line thing really bugs me - it looks daft in a screenie.
FSUIPC has some good tricks, so I might tinker a bit more there. I get a nice 'summer haze' effect which is far more realistic than a default of 90miles clear visibility, but at times I would like something a bit thicker winkyy.gif

Thanks again, and best wishes.
