I decided to try out FSrealWXLite to see how it went. Installed it yesty and everywhere in the world had fine weather. Different story today though.

Took off from Woodbourne, across the field, to be directly into the wind (35kts and gusting). The tail came up almost as soon as I opened the throttle. biggrin.gif
Set sail for NZWN, and just as I sighted the coast, along came a massive downpour. Heaps of fun, specially when I actually landed well, and on the runway, mainly because the GS was about +20mph. ohmy.gif
Very scary early on, with the old girl bucketing about in every direction. Dead chuffed that I was able to control it , on the instruments. rolleyes.gif
The weather was pretty disastrous for the framerates, but that was expected, and not as bad as I had feared.

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'
