I got bored this morning and decided to have a go at repainting again. Knowing Airwork are looking to replace their 2 F-27's on the overnight post runs, i was wondering what they would replace them with. So here is a fictional repaint of the ISDT ATR-72 500 in freighter mode.. Bear in mind that these screens are still Work in Progress
.

That will do the trick Kiwi , nothing like an easy supremely but suitable scheme for a return to the paint shop , well done - guess the Flight1 ART ... i mean ATR cool.gif

Great job .... suits it . I guess ATR's would be a good choice , must be a few older ones out their now ready for the freight dog life.

Thanks for the feedback, atr do offer a freighter conversion for the 42 and 72, fedex are a customer for the freighter version of both the 42 and 72 freighters in fedex feeder service with a total of 48 airplanes split between the 42 and 72

Cheers Ian, progress is slow. I am still having trouble with the glass and props, i also tried to convert the textures to dds but that ended in epic failure as everything was not aligned.

but here are a few more with some tweeks..

quite stoked to get the logo in the right spot on the tail too

Sometimes it can be a pain butt with some areas with a paint and the worst happens to the glazing and prop texture , i wonder if you can simply replace them with another four/five bladed type or use to compare the Alpha's they use .. sometimes the problem is built into the model and little that can be done about it .
