New Zealand... I hope to go there someday, it's on my bucketlist since I was little, but since you got the whole world in your hands with FSX it's possible to go there. But my curiosity to explore the world only grew by this, so I went other places. Places I'd never thought I'd ever go. So I left New Zealand (it became one of my favorite places to fly) to find some spectacular landscapes somewhere else.

And...

I found it!

Eventually I ended up in Colorado (USA) to find something I have never seen before. Such beauty, beauty that even the geniuses at FTX can't give me.

I found my holy grail in the Rockies, I hope you find yourself somewhere amazing too you thought you'd never go.

Alright, enough with the talk, let's show some pics!

Mount Elbert: The tallest peak of the North American continent.

And some of the surroundings:

None of the pics are edited, only resized. So this is what FSX can look like cool.gif

Thanks guys! Is there any good photoreal scenery for New Zealand? Not to be a douche or something, but I'm kinda done with the FTX regions... Don't get me wrong, it's a great product, but the mountains don't feel as "real" as with photoreal scenery.

Seems all the mountain area are missed during the Geo photo shoots , it would have made the Mount Cook region look spectacular !

Yeah, a real shame, I was pretty disappointed when I saw the Alps for the first time...

They really are regions that don't require autogen , I recall trying out Godfieck's photoreal USA and everything fell flat and lost any sense without autogen in around city areas.

Well, MegaScenery X states that autogen would ruin the 'photoreal expierence", but cities are still covered though. Only outside of the cities it's pretty much flat. But it's still very beautiful though!

Frankly its a task to AGN areas that huge tho there appears to be a recent change i noticed with UK photoreal scenery they have done this to address , hi alt flying it would superb but its approach's and the feeling near an airport that would that the wind out of my sails super quick .... very surprised we have not seen any area's AGN'ed with people who own the scenery ... be the same as painting an .. example a Captain Sim Herc .. be food for thought smile.gif
