Went to visit the Wigram Aviation Museum today - found that Ian W had also been there this morning, we must have passed each other going opposite directions!
After returning home felt inspired to take the old Skyhawk out of the hanger for a bit of a dust off. Low overcast up the river valleys on the Westcoast required all my attention so it wasn't until I popped up above the clouds at the start of the Arthur's Pass climb that I was able to take any screenshots to record my fun flight. I have to admit to really enjoying skimming along the cloud tops with occasional glimpses of the terrain below.
