Think they both look great Andy, It dose happen in the the real world or least here in Canterbury when we have the famed Northwest Arch , very typical afternoon will look like your above screen and as the cloud is pushed eastward over the main divide- Southern Alps opening the sky the sun comes thru making it very much more vibrant hence the screen below is naturally created , these days are supremely warm .
