Ian W. and I decided that a wet Tuesday was the ideal time for a quick multiplay session. Unfortunately it seems that Vodafone had other ideas (or maybe it was some recent Microsoft update). That meant we couldn't connect to hosted sessions so we ended up logging on to Digitasl Theme Parks server 1 and the TeamSpeak session for a great time first with the A2A C-172, but Ian found that a bit tame for his liking so we swapped to the Aircraft Factory He-219. Even I had to admit that this made for an interesting session.

I took some screen captures of the session - actually I thought I only took a couple but it turned out to be a lot more. Here are the ones I've chosen to share (hopefully I've gotten these up before Ian gets his ones here!!)

Ready for take of at Hokitika

Ian comes along side to check me out

Here I'm playing catch-up

After getting ejected from the game Ian was disorientated enough that I was able to sneak up behind him and get him in my sights, generally a rare occurrence against him . . .

All in all a great session and well worth the time and effort. I think that the He-219 is one of those under appreciated aircraft but isn't bad value at around $25 sop could be worth a look if you want to fly what is, well I guess I have to admit it's not the nicest looking, and in fact could be considered a bit ugly but still nice to fly aircraft.

Whew, I bet Ian to the post. Two victories today!!

Its so much fun on Multiplayer with your Mates... biggrin.gif ...!

I must admit that we have no problems using the various "FS Host" Servers for our Multiplayer activities!

http://www.chocolatesoftware.com/fshost/

Instant connection (for FSX using FS Host Client), and it works a treat.

The only problem is...hardly anyone uses Multiplayer nowadays compared to years ago (FS 2002/FS 2004)! It seems to have lost its popularity now*

Paul....G-BPLF... cool.gif ...!

* The Multiplayer connection menu for FSX is not as quick, easy, and simple as it was/is for FS 2004!
FS 2004 had/has the lovely, in-game, drop-down menu, for instant connection to Multiplayer.... whilst in flight!!
