I thought I would start a carrier thread for reference. Please carry it on.

Always remember to read the install instructions because there is always other programs needed to make these detailed addons work properly.

I'll start it with the excellent

Charles de Gaulle found HERE

featuring Rafale by Bruno « Thor's Hammer » Mérelle

Super Cool - Great screens Gav , I have not tried this Carrier, not sure how it works in a Multiplay, Ideal if it dose default 18s would suit others , can you drive this carrier making it working best in MP arena?

I haven't tried this function yet but in the readme it states "The two versions represent the Charles de Gaulle in two configurations which allow deck-landing and catapulting. "Configuration 1" presents a clear deck, particularly adapted to multi-player flights and "Configuration 2" presents a more operational take-off deck with more planes."

I think we need to start easy and go the tried and true , the old WWII carrier CV6 - ideal to entice people to give it a go , I'll install this and see how this one works, for a MP its required to have one operating the ship with a harden deck and place into the aircraft folder for it best to work.

Must reinstall a carrier or two....had a lot fun with the fantastic freeware Nimitz.

Is there a freeware Rafale with VC to go with de Gaulle? Also is there a freeware Melbourne and Ark Royal (from the 70s)?

That's not the Fouga Magister CM170 but the Fouga Zéphyr CM175 with a modified undercarriage and a hook.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fouga_CM.175_Z%C3%A9phyr

You can find it here (vers 2.2) http://restauravia.fr/html/creations_fsx.html and don't miss the gauge4.1 of RFN here http://royalefrenchnavy.perso.sfr.fr/RFN-Creations.htm
