Recently I stumbled upon the RadeonPro tool kit for my ATI card- and I'm unsure if it's a placebo effect, or if the profile I've created is working more efficiently than the previous CCC controller I had for the game, but either way I couldn't help hitting the V key whilst testing it out on a flight around Fiordland. Scenery = Orbx NSI, Aircraft = Carenado C185, WX = REX Essential Plus.

Also installed the "OrbxFTXGLightsConfigurator" today- not sure if it works with the non Global FTX regions or not, but the 3D lights around Auckland seem to look good.

The ORBX switch's do have conflict with the regions, but if you go into the directory within those as pointed out before just file name change to .Bgl.

What are the names of the files that need the extensions changed Ian?

Its quite an easy process , I have to go to screen a shot on FS PC .. its simple it in the ORBX directory were if you switch between Global and the ORNX SI/NI .. you have to rename .OFF files to the BGL. - do as many as you think within were you make want to visit , reboot and it will work with all NI SI and global .

Still not quite following- I've never owned Global, just FTX NZSI and NZNI. If you could post a screen capture of the renaming process, and results- that would be helpful!

Splitpin- go for it thumbup1.gif

The night lighting is average compared to their new FTXG lighting - which should be introduced for NZ with the update for P3Dv2 (way more lights with no performance hit). Looking forward to it!

A lot can be done to make FSX look better with simple contrast/brightness controls to make the picture a bit more dynamic. Looks like you got some photogenic weather too smile.gif
