flying over NZ trying out my new mesh and roads, thought i'd take some screenies so i set some custom weather...wow, best i've had anyway! I wish i could use it all the time but 12fps isn't quite good enough in the VC of this beast. i have the images in a larger format for the comp but - which do i choose?! This plane went higher and faster than any other plane in service in WW2.

Real pretty hinch.
Have you tried using real-world weather (with updates) over NZ?
I swear we have some of the most imaginative weather in the world...

How's that model fly?
I seem to remember the 262 had some serious handling vices?

hmm i think overall it flies nicely, there isn't anything sudden or shocking in flight. there is a wobble at certain speeds but it's easily cured. this isn't the first version so maybe problems have been corrected.

the main issue is that the model is just so detailed it doesn't lend itself too well to these conditions - the model has been smoothed so much and so carefully there are just too many polygons to render and the scenery must lose out for a smooth ride.

nah i got a load of stuff from avsim; landclass, mesh and roads. It's much better than before and i like the textures over the ones in the UK or Europe.
