Ssshhh , I Still don't own a Carenado product ohmy.gif .. but if I was to , you may have sold me with this one ... but we will have to see ... nice Screen cool.gif

Well, I own a few and I can tell you a few things about these aircraft.

1. They are absolutely gorgeous! Amazing attention to detail in both the VC and outside, but this comes with a downside. What brings me to number 2:
2. The performance is absolutely horrible on some models. Especially the Phenom 100, Cirrus SR-22GTX and the TBM850. These aircraft have one thing in common: the Garmin G1000. (it eats FPS like a fat kid in a candystore) The B1900D performs a lot better even being more complex.
3. They are pretty expensive. (35 USD average). With this money you get stunning visuals, but not realistic behavior or systems. Most systems aren't much deeper than the default aircraft and it uses the default navdata + GPS. Not something you'd expect from a 35 USD plane. Nonetheless, they are great fun to fly and I'd really recommend them if you have a good pc winkyy.gif

Agreed on all points. I would say though that their B200 pictured here, combined with Carenado's SP2 patch, and a few aesthetic improvements outlined on the Avsim Carenado forum, is their most refined product of the group. Performance with this one is great on my system, and the systems involved in this addon aren't that far off of the real thing at all.
I would strongly suggest the B200 as a first Carenado product.

The C208 Caravan is excellent as well.

Ooh completely forgot that one! It's a great aeroplane, especially for the heavier bush flying!

About the King Air, I don't own it, but I heard it is a nice aeroplane. However, Flight1 released a B200 not too long ago which is a really in-depth simulation. So complex systems and as close to the real aircraft as possible.
Btw, there is a B90 visiting the flightschool at the moment, and I didn't think it was that big! It's pretty huge actually, and the B90 is the smallest variant of the King Air. And my god she is a beauty!

All these toys , Carenado the 200 , very little difference between the airliner 1900 .. wonder what they have next

The 850 is more my type , I had a good play with a PC-12 a few years back , just watch the step entering the cockpit smile.gif
