Had static vanes in the front, the fan in behind ..many low bypass engines of the period were set out this way.

Ian is right. I'm young so I never saw the low-bypass aircraft in action (we don't have that many MD-8X's anymore in Europe). But I do know that the 737-100/200 and MD-8X have the same configuration. And by the looks of it, some DC-8s do too winkyy.gif

Wont feel strange screening those HJG 70's full frontal , now i know its not a model fault thumbup1.gif
