Well, it took me ages, and many rivets and grey tones later, I have what I believe is a good used all metal Beatcat by Vertigo Studios smile.gif

I seem to have a thing for bare metal so this has sent shivers up and down my spine. Great work. thumbup1.gif

She's finished. Final copy without the Spiff Roundel, as I don't have rights to it...Plus more people can enjoy the scheme without my taste added into it!

Ok, maybe I'll hit the CS B-52 next... winkyy.gif

Unfortunately I've looked and the CS B-52 does not have Diffuse Alpha Channels enabled. Therefore it is not possible to create the Alpha reflection metalic look! From my limited experience...please someone tell me I'm wrong! sad.gif

Thanks guys. I really love the bare aluminum look. At first I wanted to make it polished, but it really needed the used aspect to it. So hopefully it works for people! It's really too bad that devs choose not to enable the diffuse alphas...it's a simple as checking the box "blend diffuse with diffuse alpha" box when exporting the model...so I've heard anyway! So it really limits the repaints at that point...too bad about the CS B-52. sad.gif

The 52 , I did start on it , cutting metal from photo, if you really spend some time I guess its the only option, bit of a pity, never no .. I may return

Nice one Rick. Almost tempted to get the Bearcat.
Was reading the other day about somebody (Ray Hanna I think) who has flown the La9, Bearcat and Sea Fury. Sea Fury had better control harmony, Bearcat climbed faster and more manoeuvrable than the Sea Fury but the La9 was better than both of them
