Waiting for TopRob .....

Isnt it odd , i was looking through my hanger and saw the Herc (J-30) and my dream from last night came back . Anyway , i was at Edwards , captain of a C-130 tasked with flying Rob/TopRob to Fiji (its a dream ok) somebody , not sure who, told me he was late. Which in the dream was ok because i couldn't get #1 started .... end of dream. Very strange indeed.
I think i sim too much and before you ask , no wine was involved .... none of that until the old man is home.

I swear that if anyone arranges a Herc to fly me to Fiji, I'll be on time!

Sounds like an idea for an NZFF get-together... it's been a long, long time since I went to Fiji, I think I was in my early 20's, went with a few mates, I do recall a brief fling with a Japanese girl.... Those were the days.

Never ever stopped in Cuji , think it was all the Corporal/Colonel Sitiveni Rabuka and the George Speight (pride of the Pacific) and all there Cues they had there ... nah no or little tech and they had was beach's and girls to kick sand in your eyes , I go for the Herc ride tho there and back to drop ya off and there and back to pick ya up.

Nah , its a great place Ian. I was up there years ago ( you have the pics ) on a P-3 supporting the princess royal (she was on an Andover ... poor thing) As i recall , the Orion "broke down" and we had to stay there for another 2 or 3 days , until a herc came up with some spare parts , i think it was a TIT gauge for # 3 . It was hard , but we did it
