Home is Glenorchy at the north end of Lake Wakatipu and our weekly trip will be in the Navion, recently acquired.

Off Glenorchy flying up the Rees River valley.

Getting to the headwaters and quite a bit narrower.

This saddle brings you from the Rees over Lochnagar (A wee bit of Scotland?)

The Loch's outflow enters the Shotover River, flowing south to eventually circle around and join the Kawarau River flowing into Lake Wakatipu from the east.

The community of Arthur's Point where the river turns east but the road runs straight ahead to Queenstown.

On a wide right base for runway five. My first officer says we'll be driving next trip.
