This was another they had down at Warbirds of Wanaka .. NZ registered and still in its RAF suit/uniform .... course the most famous was 'Humpfrey' based from the HMS Antrim during the Falklands War in 1982.

Thanks for looking guys .... i love all the westland (Sikorsky) stuff .
Its a great model externally (from most angles) but a real ##### to screen up ... cant get any cloud or trees near the rotor , and looking up shots are just awful.
Im looking for a texture swap for the rotors in fsx .....

I would say more than likely is was, at that time it was placed so you walked along the hull , .... what the cause of me getting caught back in 2001 was they were doing maintenance to the cockpit and being a week day they had moved the ropes directly were you could climb up the side - left the pilot window open ... for me that was an invite.
What happened this was the pre 2001 Avalon Airshow, ... we saw the smoke in the tree West of Norwa , simply thought a bush fire .... No ! it was the crash and the death Squadron Leader Murray Neilson .. hence the staff were out off the museum and left things open , open invitation for me.
