.. Clever enough you hand paint it ... I've never used a Paint Kit in the twenty plus years of flight sim

You can't fly it in the rain otherwise the window is completely solid blue...
The sound is not that great (one constant whine no matter what the RPM is and where the collective is (apart from startup/shutdown)
I'm going to look for a soundpack maybe as apparently this is a Nemeth Design "feature" as of a year ago.

You could try the sound from their old BO-105 , i was just flying it , and its not to bad .... just a thought, or there maybe something at hover control.
Splitpin wrote:QUOTE (Splitpin @ Dec 12 2014,8:07 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>How are you going with the sound ?
Nah - I downloaded a pack from hovercontrol but I think it ties in with the .air file which will change the flight dynamics. So the whole time I just have the startup loop playing. But as much as I love the sound of a turbine starting I think I'll have to put up with the sound that comes with the chopper.
It's not a deal breaker, I'm getting quite good at controlling my hover, just using my fingertips on the stick to nudge it into position. I think trackIR or a oculus would be helpful though to look around quickly.
And still waiting for that paintkit

I would be thoroughly surprised if any issues beyond something that an end-user can adjust themselves are fixed. It would take an extensive amount of complaints from numerous people throughout the community for them to address anything complex many months down the road (at which time their excuse may change to...it's an old product so no updates are forthcoming).
I think there are now so many brands, they are all trying to get to the dollar.
